Mireille Manga is a Professor of political science and serves as an Executive member of the International Public Policy Association. She leads the team and is currently affiliated with the Institute of International Relations of Cameroon (IRIC) at the University of Yaoundé II.

Symphorien ONGOLO

Politician - IRD
Symphorien ONGOLO, political scientist and permanent research fellow at the French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development (IRD), is based at the Knowledge, Environment and Societies Laboratory at Paul Valéry University in Montpellier, France. He has held this position since September 2023, when he was assigned to the Laboratory as an IRD researcher. His work focuses on the analysis of power relations and issues related to natural resource governance in Africa, topics on which he has published several articles and books.

Dr. Thérèse Azeng holds a Ph.D. in public economics and is a leading academic figure in Cameroon, serving simultaneously as Head of Division of Research and Publications at the University of Bertoua and as a research teacher at the University of Yaoundé II. His work focuses on the analysis of the socio-economic dynamics that influence public policy in Africa, with strong expertise on issues of development, democratic governance, migration and the impact of armed conflict on the continent.

Éliezer MAJAMBU is a tenured senior lecturer and associate professor at the Official University of Mbujimayi (UOM) in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Holding a PhD in environmental geography from Le Mans University, his research falls within the field of political ecology applied to forests. With recognized scientific expertise, he focuses on the socio-ecological dynamics of forest areas, with particular emphasis on natural resource governance and interactions between local, national, and international stakeholders.

Sarah KAKONDJA is a PhD student in environmental socio-anthropology at the Official University of Bukavu, DRC. His young expertise is valuable to GLOGORENA because of his knowledge of the land in the province of South Kivu, in eastern DRC.

Socio-anthropologist - UNIYAO I
Socio-anthropologist and PhD student at the University of Yaoundé I, focuses his research on agricultural migration and land conflicts in the localities of the south-central forest of Cameroon. Its focus on land issues is not only a pioneering research perspective, but also in line with GLOGORENA's objectives.
